About Vikesh Khanijow, M.D.
Dr. Khanijow was raised in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from University of South Florida with a major in Biology. He received his medical degree from Morsani School of Medicine at University of South Florida. He completed a chief medical residency at University of Texas at Houston. Thereafter, he completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. Dr. Khanijow joins us after working as a gastroenterologist in southern New Jersey for the last two years. Dr. Khanijow has interests in colorectal cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease, but treats all gastrointestinal illnesses. He also has a focus on wireless capsule endoscopy. Dr. Khanijow’s outside interests include traveling, boxing, and fine dining. He also enjoys playing sports and cheering on the USF Bulls and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
