Meet Your Gastroenterologist

Dr. Elnemr is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist establishing a new GI practice in South Tampa. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He then completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital before completing a Therapeutic Endoscopy fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. This advanced training allows him to remove cancerous tissue in a minimally invasive manner and also perform bariatric endoscopy cases.
From 2018 to the beginning of 2022, Dr. Elnemr was a gastroenterologist at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Michigan where he developed the therapeutic endoscopy service, including diagnostic and interventional EUS, ERCP, advanced mucosal resection, and RFA ablation. Dr. Elnemr and his family have relocated to Florida as he has recently joined Gastro Florida. He will be seeing clinic patients in South Tampa and performing ASC cases at the Tampa Bay Endoscopy Center and will do hospital GI consults & procedures at HCA Florida South Tampa and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
