About John H. Ahn, D.O.
Dr. Ahn was born in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to the United States in his early teens. He is a graduate of Colgate University in New York, and completed his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology/ New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ahn completed internal medicine training and gastroenterology fellowship training in Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York and subsequently finished one additional year of advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Ahn is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and also certified in Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. Furthermore, he is also trained in acupuncture and alternative medicine. Dr. Ahn is currently interested in integrating his holistic training background and advanced technical therapeutic endoscopy skills in conjunction with alternative medicine to treat his patients. Dr. Ahn has been in practice for over 20 years and he prizes commitment to quality and aims to provide compassionate patient centered care.
